#1 | | - 187 - | OC Question i have a dillema, i changed my cpu to 3800+ i had a 4200+ but i sold the 4200+ and now i'm back to my old 3800+ before i oc'd it to 4200+ ( from 2Ghz to 2,2Ghz) but then i had 667Mhz ram modules ( and the limit of the motherboard is 800) now with 800Mhz i can oc the cpu or the sistem will become instable, now my QUESTION is : Should i put me mem on 667Mhz and the cpu around 2,2Ghz or 2,3 Ghz or leavea it like this 800Mhz and 2Ghz ? does the memory frecvency count so much ?

#3 | | - 187 - | i hat to lower the ram at 400Mhz to be albe to oc it a little bit better, => CPU-Z Validator Database <= , if you have any sygestions feel free to type e'm down. thx Rage
the maximum stable core i got was 2380Mhz but i runed some tests and there is no overall performance boost at least not to great so i decided to run it a 2Ghz stock and the mem at 800Mhz stock

#5 | | Should I have an title? | | M/B: Gigabyte MA790FX-DQ6 | | | RAM: 8GB OCZ AM2 DDR2-667 | | | PSU: Antec EarthWatts 500W | | They never put voltages you know why because ppl used the voltages of overclockers and put it on theirs own and that's make alot of bu****it so they sue cpu-z for that is for that now they dont put it and secondo it's the voltage the main key ! .... Well is strange an 3800+ oc to 4200+ you can reach more far with an proper cooling think to buy another cooler (not stock one)

#7 | | Golden Member | you know...for what youd blow on a decent cooler and all you might as well buy yourself a new 4200+ their only like 50-60$ and all your problems would be solved and the rig would be running properly |

maybe because HT is link from cpu speed to ddr hmmm )
ddr 667 (kingmax) is 1.8v so he could go to 750-800 with 1.9v
with x9 or 9.5 cpu multiplier
