#5 | | Golden Oldie Member | | CPU: Intel E6700 @ 3.2 GHz | | | M/B: MSI P45 Neo F (Rev. 1) | | | RAM: 8 GB Dual Channel DDR2 | | This is a tough question to answer right now. I've been using an AMD 939 for a few months only since Dec. I've had a lot of pleasure from it.
But, I just recently got the Intel C2D E6700 and 2 GB of DDR2 RAM (Dual Channel) and it's performing quite well now, too.
I can't really pick between them at this point other than to say the AMD didn't give me nearly as much trouble getting it to run properly as did the Intel system. So, only with that in mind, I'd have to say the AMD was less troublesome and should get the vote.

Including the wide range of CPUs that you can use if you have the latest chipset.
