Sorry guys, but,
starting a thread here about X2's and opteron's was a waste of time...
The whole point was to get something better then a 2500+ XP socket A.
So we got an ASUS A8V board with a Athlon 3200+ 64 single core. Considering the ridicoulous price tag: 100$Cad tax included for both CPU and motherboard combined, this was a good deal, and is way better and the XP 2500+ (DUH!). Anyways i don't really care because it's not my computer.
