Everything I've checked indicates that, as long as you got a 754 pin Athlon 64, it should work. In fact, your mobo is listed as one of those to which the CPU can be used. So, disregard the above reply as it DOES appear that the combination is compatible and supported.
When you put in the Clawhammer, are you absolutely sure that everything is secured properly?
Try reducing the multiplier to see if you can get it to sync.
Are you using an adequate PSU? 240W PSU is pretty weak.
Have you tried simply using the RESET button after it starts up instead of just shutting it down? It's possible that it needs to detect the devices and settings before you get a screen sometimes.

sn85g4 V3 supports it
yes, im absolutly sure clawhammer its ok on the socket. (easy)
the psu i think is enough. its the official psu. i tried to use a weaker video card (6600 gt) but it doesnt start.
im gonna try to reduce multiplier and/or use reset button |

im gonna try to reduce multiplier and/or use reset button | I'm still not convinced that the PSU is adequate. Today's systems are requiring more like 400 - 500W PSUs. And, the more devices, e.g. HDDs, CD/DVD drives, add-in PCI cards, case cooling fans, etc, will elevate the power needed for the system.
Try this: ONLY connect the video card and DISCONNECT all HDDs and CD/DVD drives for now. See it you can get a POST screen. If so, you can take it to the bank that the PSU is too weak.
Then, if it does POST only hook up the System ( Windows) HDD (if you have more than one) and see if it will boot into Windows.
Good luck!

Good luck! | its the official psu and officialy supports 3700+. i also have seen other sn85g4v3 systems with this clawhammer (another forums).
i have tried disconnecting all hdd/cd/dvd drives with no results.
reset buttom dont work. change ram dont work.
mmm... im gonna try to change/force multiplier. |
