Default Who Would You Prefer as the next US President?

I tread very softly here as this is not intended to stir up any big controversy and fighting. It's merely a question I ask very sincerely of those who are not USA citizens to determine your opinions on the direction the USA should be taking in the next presidential election.

At this writing, it appears that the two candidates will be chosen between Barack Obama and John McCain. There's a general consensus that Hillary Clinton will bow out after the upcoming final primaries this coming Tuesday. Also in the mix is a Libertarian candidate who just recently announced: Bob Barr who is a former Republican -- now an Independent. There's little to no chance that he will win the election per general consensus.

Regardless, of those who are still in contention, who would you prefer to see elected and WHY?

And, please, there's no need to be bashing one another for whatever is stated. I just would like an honest opinion from among the members here. No one should be criticized for stating an honest opinion.

Thanks for your participation!

EDIT:

LOL! Is this just a coincidence, or, is the subject title creating this AD? I didn't notice this AD until AFTER I posted this question.

Well, probably no one of them. My level of ''care'' for the U.S. is so pathetic you can't even put on a chart. The U.S. has been for too long now, a land of 'were the best and love freedom''. But as a matter of fact the U.S. is just preventing the world to be free. They are over-confident, and one day they WILL pay for that. As an ''ok'' American person I respect you Dire, but I will probably not respect the U.S. in its entirety in the time of my living. Maybe one of these two fellows will improve things, but I doubt it.

As so often is the case, we Americans may want "none of the above", too. But, we've got to go with one....often the "lesser of the two evils" as they say. And, far too often, we don't even get that!

Neither. To lead an empire such as the United States, you must to be strong and aggressive with balls of steel. I don’t think neither Obama nor McCain have these records or any leadership abilities. However, if you “force” me to vote, I’d vote for McCain since Obama is a total wimp.

Obama is a total wimp.

I'm afraid that Mc Cain won't solve the problem that is due to the american over-acting in the world,

but that will be far better than this lier and populist social climber of Obama.

So neither, but to me Mc Cain is the less of two evils .

Sad :S

I'm hoping that I can vote for Obama, without Clinton as a running mate....

My reason is simple: I want to see some kind of change from the status quo in Washington. None of the other potential candidates are interested in trying to implement "change". I'm just tired of the same "good old boys" that ONLY promote the interests of Big Business.

Mind you, this doesn't mean that Obama will be able to accomplish his "goals" as stated in his campaign. But that's another matter altogether.

While they're all to some degree "puppets", McCain is a stupid puppet. He was talking about the middle east once and he said something completely false(not a minor mistake a frickin huge one), this guy pulled him aside and said something in his ear, then he said totally the opposite of his last statement.

If you think they're both similar or not-better-than-the-other then it's easy to vote (or not). Lets see what america's first black president can do.
