I have some historical knowledge, so here goes:
1. God created the world.
2. God gave a certain relatively small portion of it to a nation called Israel.
3. The nation of Israel subsequently invaded and settled that land.
4. Hundreds of years after entering the land, they founded the first Israeli kingdom in it.
5. This kingdom split in to two, with the north seceding.
6. The northern kingdom was destroyed by Assyria, about 280 years after King Solomon built the 1st temple.
7. The southern kingdom was destroyed by Babylon about 130 years later.
8. During the Babylonian exile there was a 50 year period in which there were no Israelis in Israel. This is the only time this ever happened, since initially conquering the land.
9. Under the Persians, Israelis started returning to their land, and rebuilt the temple.
10. About 200 years later, the Israelis rebelled against the Greeks and established a kingdom is Israel which was destroyed 206 years later by the Romans.
11. The land became barely inhabitable.
12. No other national-state was ever founded in Israel for the past 2000 years. No other country was centered here.
13. The Israelis began a massive return to their homeland in the 19th century, under the slogan "A land without a people for a people without a land".
14. The Arabs began flowing in as result of the Israeli restoration efforts, which turned Israel into an attractive place for those looking to make a living in the region.
15. The Arabs have constantly and consistently tried to remove the Israeli presence from the middle east throughout th 20th century.
16. The Israelis, controlled by liberals, seeked acceptance by their neighbors and the Western world through various means, which included a tough stance in the first 3 decades, and land, money, and weapon bribes in the last 3 decades. Needless to say it, didn't work and the antisemites are as usual trying to destroy us, this time targeting our nationality rather than our religion, but it's all the same.
And nobody used the term "Palestinian" to refer to Arabs (but it was used to refer to Israelis sometimes) until 1964, when the PLO was founded.
BTW, Eduard isn't an Israeli, even though he's probably enjoying you guys thinking he is.

In other words, it's at war to defend it self from antisemitic identity thieves who seek it's annihilation by all means available.
