I think this whole deal i ridiculous, what on earth did Edward expect us to react to his statements?
How can you praise "this and that" without proper knowledge about what your saying?, and not least
know how to share your views in a way that people take you seriously. I don't feel sorry for Edward at all, he brought this predicament on himself.

Exactly! This is the real issue. As you yourself admit, your people have "re-established" themselves (apparently after 2000 years) in someone else's country - on someone else's land !!!

The problems of your people today are all self-inflicted. How can you be surprised at all the misery your people are suffering when you have moved into someone else's established country and taken their land as your own. If anyone else did the same action they would naturally expect a strong backlash.

So please stop trying to claim that your side is the one that deserves some sympathy from the world.

If anyone else used the same excuse that "their people originally hailed from that province around 2000 years ago" to take another country's land from them it would be considered a very weak justification indeed and it would not be tolerated.
