Well, I got one a couple of nights ago, and all I can say is WOW.

Let me say this, I've used the mx1000, mx510, mx500, and the mx700, and nothing comes close to the mx518. It is really comfortable, the teflon pads are really nice and the mouse moves MUCH more smoothly then the others. Not to mention, the on the fly DPI switching is really really handy...I'll give an example for Counter Strike.

Say you have a scout/deagle. You run around with the deagle, on full 1600dpi. You see someone at distance, and as you pull out the scout and zoom in, you whip the dpi down to 800 or 400 for a much more accurate shot. Very cool.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to try the Razer DiamondBack yet, so I can't compare the two...but the mx518 looks cooler, and from what I've heard, it is MUCH more comfortable...it also has an extra button. The specs of the DB and mx518 are virutally the same, if you were wondering.

HIGHLY RECCOMEND! :clapping:

I have Razer Diamondback.. The chameleon version and all what I can say is WOW too :P The mouse is really smooth and cs have become much more easier.. On the fly sensitivity is the most useful thing for me because when u feel that you have too high sens u just lower it with couple clicks.. I don't know about the comfortable of other mice because I haven't tried them but I have got used to my DB and it's very good for me.

So I say mx 518 and Razer DB are the best gaming mice today

Previously I had a wireless fujitsu siemens' mouse and wheww what a difference between the mx series and some cheap mouse. My mouse is mx 510 tho but it´s quite similar to 518, it´s just a bit not as accurate and fast as 518. :P
