forever? no this is a procedure that you only have to do when you upgrade
the firmware, if you tried to upgrade via WLAN it would fail, because
the WLAN part of the router is shut off when you uppgrade firmware
therefore you *MUST* use LAN connection when you uppgrade firmware.
if not will you will be sitting with a DEAD router. But when the upgrade is finished,
your router will funtion normaly again (but now without the errors that you mentioned)
