Hi guys,

i try to capture network data from my own wireless devices.
therefore i had an idea.

1st.
i connect my modem to my computer, build up a connection to my router (through my pc)

2nd
with wireshark i can capture the communication

3rd
filter with wireshark and read the data i need

my problem is, that i do not know how to do part 1 - i have done part 2 and 3 already (on lan)

what am i doing this for? i am interested in which data my mobile device loads when i enable internet connection on it (actually which data it SENDS to the net - if ther is any private/sensitive data about me/my device or similar.)

my OS is win7 x64

and yes, i got two lan ports on my computer

How do you connect mobile devices to the internet? WiFi or wire?
