Default 500 Mhz USB (Mouse) Rate - Windows 7?

Hey,

has any1 figured out yet if itīs possible to change the USB polling rate of your mouse in Windows 7?
Iīve tried the old Vista Patch (usbport.sys) , which leads into disfunction of all of my USB devices and the guide with the hidusbf Program which also didnīt work.

Does anyone have another idea or program? Would be very very nice if someone could help me.

Thanks in advance!

Hello there, im using windows 7 too. but im having problems changing the polling rate to 1000hz.
It works on windows vista with my mx518, but i can't change it on windows 7.

Ive done everything, how you said, but it won't work.

heres a pic of my desktop, which shows the drivers and that i changed them, but it just won't work. maybe something has changed in newer windows 7?

Used this in Windows 7 build 7000, 7022, 7048 and now in 7077 and it works without problems. I however have an x86 build and use a polling rate of 250 not 1000.

Btw, i used that dseo prog on both HIDUSBF.sys, the one in system32 and the one in syswow64. anyone got another idea?
