I think you guys are misjudging it. Give me a week to play around with it and I'll tell you what its worth. So far its not bad as you say it is, it boots in 3 seconds looks very decent.

So far, I played only FIFA 2009 and it kicks ass. I don’t understand, the PC version is terrible! But the Xbox one is awesome. Hell, I even owned some “football fan” on Xbox Live on my first game.

Rege, I honestly hope you have a great time with the 360. If I actually owned one, I'd be on it a lot. I'd actually be playing on one of my son's except he and his wife tie them up where I don't have time to do it.

My only real 'problem' with playing on one is that I'm so used to be very close to the screen it's difficult to get used to be farther away from the 'action'. So, if I had my own, I wouldn't have that problem anymore and could hook it right up to my new LCD.

Cheers and good luck!

I actually have the opposite problem with computer games, if feels like you are so close to the screen and it looks so huge to me although my monitor is only 17inches. But I think I like the PS3 better overall, it is a bit easier to control, and seems to be a bit more fun, I also do like the xbox 360 but the controls are a bit funky because i don't play xbox much since I don't own one, wish I could be playing that halo 3 right now.

How do you actually kill things with the sword in the witcher game, it is hard because I keep on clicking the mouse button and the sword only goes half way down for me. I can't make any game progress because of this whether I am using the mouse or the mouse and keyboard. It seems like a pretty good game to me.

You can't just keep clicking the mouse button. What you do is, you click it ONCE with the attack icon showing and then let Geralt do his part. He'll start swinging the sword and proceed with the First Attack Sequence. Then, during the swordfight, you'll see a flaming icon appear. This is the hint to hit the mouse button again. When you do it right, Geralt will commence the Second Attack Sequence. Depending on how far he's leveled up, there can be subsequent attack sequences and movements involved.

But, if you just keep clicking the mouse button, you're just interrupting the attack. That's why the sword is only going part way.

Consoles fucking suck period. They're pretty good for driving, watching men in silk tights kicking a ball around or biggots looking like the Michelin man whacking a rubber puck around with wooden sticks.

I actually like them much better for gaming period, but with the computer you can do more stuff. When it comes to shooting games consoles and the computer are the same to me, but when there are games such as fifa 2008 or 2009 the game is the worst thing ever that you can possibly buy. plus the ps3 is more than graphical enough for me on many games and also the xbox 360, just like I said, I wish I could be playing that halo 3 all day.

I have always preferred consoles for multiplayer (non-online) games, both for convenience you all gather around the TV on the sofa etc and the game choices for single machine, multiplayer, but now everything has moved online etc, meh who cares anymore.

For games like Tekken, Micromachines and so on the consoles rocked. You just cant gather around a PC and share a keyboard and mouse like you can with a console.
