Critical Issue in Some of Seagate/Maxtor Drives

I sent 320GB 7200.10 to repair/change (loud working one) and they sent me back 7200.11.... This is one from list above.... ST3320613AS ;-(

NO MORE SEAGATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm... I took a look on sticker again and i see there:

"Date Code: 09303"
Yyyyy.... Do it mean hdd is dated on march 3 2009?

Its firmware is CC2F, is this bug-free one?

What the 09303 means is...

the 09 means this fiscal year, 2008-2009

the 30 means the 30th week of the fiscal year starting on the 1st Saturday of July

the 3 means the 3rd day of that week, weeks are running from Sat -> Fri
