i have made a complete article about that.
but it is in dutch.
you can find it here, if you look at the pictures it speaks for themself.

bottemline is you need hitachi F-tool to disable it.
hitachi F-tool works with all hdd brands.
floppy version click here
and a cd version ISO format click here

hitachi is using IBM technology for hdd-s
is samsung using same one ???

Thanks!! But, Hitachi has a newer version (2.06). Would the newer one be better?
