And i tried softmodding my Audigy2 into audigy4 pro. And i must have either a) done something wrong while installing b)my comp just didnt go well with this guide. Either way i screwed up my windows xp. Now i tried uninstalling the AUDIGY4 drivers that i installed off of the MODDED AUDIGY4.ISO. I installed the YOUP-PAX audigy4 drivers and after that my windows xp slowed. I went into safemode and uninstalled all audigy drivers and used Driver cleaner pro to be secure. I installed audigy2 drivers but my computer still crashes and slows down when ever i try to play a game. Now i unstalled audigy drivers and am using USB LOGITECH headphones and its workign perfect. Meaning that i need to be more thrurough of how i remove the drivers and i dont understand how i am to revert my comp to its normal state after this experiement. And Reinstalling windows is not an option for me. not now atleast

have you got your system restore turned on?


start /all programs / accessories/ system restore


If not

shut down rip the card reboot (run it with no sound )

then reinstall card

proceed as normal
