Leave it as slave, it wont make difference if you set it to master, you'll only have problems with it with the auto-detection of grub when installing anykind of linux distro if you set it to master. (your sata will be hd0, but if your ide is set to master it will be hd1 meaning that your sata wont be the master - aka first boot, grub will install in sata mbr hd1 and not hd0 as it should be and you'll have to edit your grub configuration, though you should have no problem with windows). |
