ram does only store data as long as its powered...
so you need to have it "ON" all time or as long as the battery can stay...
so better keep the money and go on a holiday trip
PS: iff i remember right, they already developed memory that only needs electricity to change data (no, no floppy or harddisk - as fast as ram

)
