Default 1024x768 Max Resolution?

How come prior to updating to 2.15822, my NHL07 max resolution was able to hit 1280x1024. But now it only maxes out at 1024x768?

My Need for Speed Carbon resolution also maxes out at 1024x768, although I'm not sure if it's suppose to be the max resolution for that game since I got it a few days ago (seems highly unlikely though).

Is this a bug or what?

Other games like CS:S and S.T.A.L.K.E.R are fine although I've noticed that after installing the driver, Warcraft III now runs natively at 1440x900 although the in-game setting doesn't even allow that.

I was running 2.9792 prior to 2.15822.

Cheers

I dont know why you cant go higher that 1024x768. But its normal that after swithing to new driver you have strange res in some games . Just set it to the desire one. One of the games that is affcted my this is GTA:VC.

Should I roll-back my display drivers or will the positives outweigh the negatives? It's weird because I never had this problem before

Try to install Monitor drivers and try to reinstall the drivers, cleanup and install again.

Hmm... apparently it was the driver from my monitor.

It's kind of funny since I downloaded it straight off the Acer Support site. (I have an AL1916W LCD monitor)

Thanks for the help!
