Default Mouse Problem

I have MX-518 mouse + I have just formatted , sometimes the mouse "STOP" working

for 2-3 secs and then come back alive , (the red light is turnining off and then coming back)




*It never happened befor the format .

*In device manager , mouse option ,"Allow the computer to turn off this device... " is not available to chose anyways.

well ,any ideas

Try to plug the mouse to another USB port and install the Logitech driver, and make sure you have the latest MX518 firmware.

well , I though it worked but it did not
* I got last drivers + BIOS
* I have Windows XP April Version ( I heard it a little buggy, mayb that's the reason?)
* I have changed the USB place.
* and rege.. what is that "latest MX518 firmware" ?
*I'm going to reinstall the mouse driver , but I dont think it shuold change anything

I had the EXACT same problem with my Logitech MX1000 when i formatted. I tried to fix the problem, but i switched to a Razer Diamondback before i could find the cause.

try to update usb root hub by searching automatically from xp cd
