The latest version of Netgears drivers contain a replacement Ginadll, this causes fast user switching and the welcome screen to be disabled.

to prevent this ginadll from installing, Download MS ORCA, and open the .msi file, search for all cases of RTLGINA and GINADLL and remove them all,

this will prevent the replacement ginadll from installing and the driver will still work.
