Default Acer AL1916 glitch on Win2003Svr

Hi,

I've got an Acer AL1916 LCD monitor connected to a couple of computers through a Netgear router. The Acer works fine on my WinXP/SP2 with 1GB RAM.

It works, though not perfectly on my Win2003Svr/SP1 system with 512MB RAM. It works perfectly except moves a floating window around the screen displaying "Input not supported."

I run the monitor at 1280x1024 with 32-bit color on both system. When I first installed this monitor and had this symptom, I only had ~300MB RAM on the server. Then symptom went away when I boosted it to 512MB. That was a couple of months ago. All of sudden, the floater has returned and I can't think of reason for it.

I checked the Acer site for a relevant driver. It only had XP drivers for this model; no 2003 nor Vista.

Any ideas?

TIA,
Richard
