I tried decreasing the latencies and my computer was then trying to fix the bios.

Check see if that update unlocked your multiplier if not do what I did and force the next lowest DDR setting to lower ratio and the ram frequency.
what should the ram frequency be at? ill have a look at the DDR settings and see wat options i have for it

any way
put cpu fsb to normal than set up ddr to 800
it is under cpu multiplier in your bios
than push cpu to highest clock that can stand it so your ddr speed will be around 1100mhz with 570fsb on cpu (i think)
you will gain higher stability for better clocks

The actual frequency it is running at is related to the FSB:RAM ratio. Looking up stats 530Mhz is the absolute max you should be running on that Gen can tell you more ... as he is the one that told me. So heed his advise I am doing that myself on a server rig which is my old machine. The multiplier is locked so when I O/C from 2.6 to 3.12G on this Northwood Celeron my DDR200 runs @ 227Mhz which is to high for the OCZ performance ram. With the O/C I force DDR166 and that changes the frequency to 200.1Mhz which is similar to what Gen is telling you. Hope this helps
