Argh! I overclocked my CPU and it worked for a while, upped the FSB 1 HZ, and now it wont start. Everything boots up, the lights come on, the fans blow, and everything works except y mouse and my keyboard aren't read and nothing shows up on the monitor. HELP ME PLEASE. I'm on a different computer with an AMD, its a friends.

I dont f**k around with hardware much, and I read you have to take out the battery and all the connections and wait for 30 seconds, then plug it all back in and boot up. I don't mess with anything but RAM and Videocards.

Also the battery does not have to be removed. There should be a jumper close to the battery that has to be changed then reset to it's original position after a few seconds and that's it. Even the rare time that the battery has to be removed it's just like removing a watch battery and there is usually a small tab on the battery holder that helps to remove the battery

sometimes holding the Home or insert keys as you power on can revert to working bios settings as well
