Default 100hz limit on usb rate

I checked my mouse rate mouserate 1.1b just now and i see its going from 90-100 nothing higher or lower and i want to get it higher. Its a microsoft intelliexplorer 4.0. What can i do. IF it has a lock how do i remove it

Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer v4 is locked in both hardware/software forms (You can’t go above 125Hz)

Is there a way to hack through that? What would be the BEST gaming mouse to buy since i play cs. Razor mouse?

I did some research on this, and though they were close, most reviews I found put the logitech g5 above the Razer Copperhead. Either will work great though. Laser is definitely the way to go....

To change your USB polling rate:

NOTE: increasing polling rate might causes more cpu usage time when you move your mouse. I experience about 25% cpu usage when i move my mouse rapidly in random directions continously at 1000Hz.

As for gaming mouse. G5 is a very good pick (customizable weight \o/ ) and i recommend this one unless budget is an issue. But 50 bucks for a gaming mice is acceptable damage
