MBO Bios modding????

hi all
i have a question for all
is it posible to mod a mbo bios for asrock
i have two identicly same mbos but one support Core Duo cpu and other dont and question is
is it posible to modd bios so other mbo can support Core Duo cpus

p.s.trust me this is not stupid question becouse the mbos are totaly same i hade both of them in my hands and hardware is allmost same but only southbridge is not same
one is VIA VT8237A and the other is VIA VT8237R

just look for the avalaible bios versions and flash your bios.

if the bios version you whant exists.
somewhere on the net you will find it.

what are the versions of the north bridge? this could be a problem if they are different. older NB's may not support the core duo because of voltage differences.
