CPU: Phenom II x3 720 @ 3.4
GPU: Radeon HD4870 OC
M/B: MSI 790FX-GD70
RAM: OCZ DDR3 4gb
PSU: OCZ 700w

Alright so Ive spent 2 days now looking over seemingly endles graphs of dozens upon dozens of coolers (im the type that I want the absolute best for my money) and im just getting frustrated now

Each cooler has some sort of draw back weather it be a little weaker performence, ultra loud fan or shitty mounting kit.

Im looking for something ine the 50$ CAD or less range that performence well, is suitable for overclocking and has a good mouting kit, any suggestions?

just some regular overclocking with a phenom II, their not really cpu specific, just need a good performing one, with a solid mouting kit, good availablity and decent looks

why not try the stock one ? from what i've read and seen the pII's stock heatsink's are pretty decent nice fins with copper base and pipes ( the one from my pII looks pretty good if they are all like this they must perform ok especialy since the cpu's are 45nm)

PS: also for a average oc they stack up pretty well.

For 89 Bucks @ NCIX you can get the Domino ALC ... Got few friends who got it and it's damn good and just remplace your standard 120 mn fan

Zamoldac, they stock cooler looks ok but i dont like top down coolers as they blow hot air back at the cpu and they dont cause much turbulet air in the case so the other components dont get cooled much.

Imodamd, thats a little out of my price range lol

What do you guys think of the Cooler Master Hyper 212?
