Default Silent inverter?

Can anything be done about inverters that emit a high pitched noise? It's kind of ironic when the squeal can be heard over the noise of multiple fans.

So I take it most people don't have an inverter in their rig and those that do can somehow put up with the noise?

It's for electroluminescent cables, really good ones at that. They were included as extras with my thermaltake case. Can't really place it in a remote location. So far I've excluded them from my setup.

Id fill the inverter with bathroom silicone. or find some padding which filters out high frequency noise.

Or would you answer, 'Never have I heard anything more divine?"
