2x2GB OCZ Vista Upgrade Copper Mirrored XTC Heatspreader
now can I OC it to somting like 2.8 3.0 Ghz?
Im new with the oc... But what is my limits u think.. like cpu voltage, BUS speed, memm voltage...
Is there any good to boost RAM voltage?
im looking for some avarage OC...
Also i got some avarage Gigabyte cooler...
Default idle temp for cpu is: 38-40

than just rise fsb and set multiplier lower than normal
dont play with voltage because you can burn ddr and cpu
try to get proper cooling like zalman 9700 |

#3 | | Looking for a new start | | CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 720 B | | | RAM: 8GB OCZ DDR Reaper HPC | | once i replace the stock heatsink I will OC the poop out of mine, just as a test I did 400x8 with RAM at 1:1 and default voltages and it booted and ran smooth but too warm with the stock heatsink for my taste

Now running with 400MHz FSB and 8x multiplier (3200 MHz) with my RAM set to 1:1 ratio and my idle temps are just over 30c http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=313381

#9 | | Professional Member | lol 16 degree on air cooling?
that unrealistic, you cant cool it further than the temp in your room, which is usually ~25 degree...
check your values in bios!
NOTE: said 16 degree here too, but actually it was way more! (30 instead of 15...) |
