#11 | | Looking for a new start | | CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 720 B | | | RAM: 8GB OCZ DDR Reaper HPC | | it's just a registry hack to enable access to overclocking features in the older control panel
ntune will do most things if you motherboard supports it |

It's defaultly available in any modified drivers, in ngo drivers too ;-) So u can use it without any problems :-) Try it and say somethin about results dude.
;-)
I'll be waitin for this results ;-)
But about cpu oc... Yes, best way is clockin in bios, any kind of software which is dedicated to cpus oc is not workin well, but i've seen screenshots and i've read some articles about amd overdrive and i think that it should works fine. Try everythin what u want.

Reinitialize X and enjoy.

#15 | | Golden Member | | RAM: 4096 Corsair 800 XMS2 | | I can't find anywhere to change FSB settings in BIOS, is this beacause of my motherboard? However M2N-Sli has some pre-set overclock modes to choose from in BIOS so i gave it a go, but i tried the 10% mode ( ) and then my computer froze twice....
...any advice from people with Asus M2N m/b....?
p.s what exactly does multiplier do?
- to start with i will download ntune/overdrive + cpu-z to verify and see how i get on..

#18 | | (ಠ_ರೃ) | | CPU: 940 BE @ 3.62Ghz H2O | | | RAM: 2x2GB 1.1Ghz HyperX BE | | | PSU: Antec EarthWatts 500W | | cpu multiplier is the ratio of CPU clockspeed to front-side bus or northbridge clockspeed. A system with a CPU multiplier of 10x will have its CPU execute 10 complete cycles for every cycle of its FSB, so basicly is FSB x Cpu Multy = Freq. If you can't find the bios settings for cpu FSB try pressing "ctrl+F1" in bios and then find Advanced settings the Fsb and other settings should be availaible to you then.

As you are playing with FSB and multipliers and also when you get into memory timings and settings keep a copy of GPU-Z handy if you already don't. It really displays a lot of important information quickly and is priced a lil better than Everest lol. CPUID
Been playing with memory timings here as my multiplier is locked and this OCZ performance RAM has a max spec of 230Mhz and don't want to push things to hard. I use these two tabs quite a bit as they show the ratios quite clearly when making changes.
