But it runs great no issues whatsoever which is what we care about

#14 | | Advanced Newbie | | RAM: 4 x 2Gb Patriot DDRII | | 939-Dual Vsta I have a Asrock 939 Dual VSTA board that was running great until I put it in my new Coolermaster Cosmos case. This case is know for being quiet but with crappy air flow. Since then my northbridge has been overheating and I had to put a active copper HSF on it just to keep it cool. The stock heat sink is indentical to the one you show and it had the same little splash of thermal paste on the bottom. Even with the new HSF my idle temps are still in the high 30s and under load they go into the 50s. |

anyway that mbo have smart name
it is fast As Rock but it can do a trick
just put a active cooling on chipset and it will run without any problems until you try to get max speed from your cpu (you can reach 20mhz over normal fsb but higher than that you get bsods or crushers) |

For now excuse the cable ties this is temp case setup, my AC stickers and hardware for those fans are in the boxes(pic 1). My idle is 33C CPU and mobo ambient 24C. On the chipset I think its fine for now (pic 2)
