Ok, So i threw down about $90 for a new vid card, Nvidia Geforce FX 5500 i believe

think its rather low end and ive been tryin to O'clock it
I know about it, and ive got my cooling set up, and i ve run ZILLIONS of Overclocking prgrms such as ATItool and Rivatuner

But seriously can somebodu help me overclock this lowend card?

Currently its running halo pc smoothly but i cant get it to run its best
wanna jump to better games.

Please post your PC's specifications, if you are trying to get the best of the games with your FX5500 and a pentium III you are already at your max.

nVidia FX Series was the worst series nvidia has ever made, just like the new HD2900 ati cards, so dont expect too much from your card. You pentium III seems to be bottlenecking your PC.

yeh seriously time too update

i had a p3 450mz sitting in the corner for 4 years or soo

its only for emergency purposes

the 550 wasnt a bad performer for its time but the new machines will blow it out the water

by the way 256mb of ram is not enough for your os let alone gaming
unless your still using win98 even then i would add more

There is software available to determine exactly what hardware you have and how it is set up even if you do choose to upgrade as recommended.

This is available from our DL section on NGOHQ.com

SiSoftware Sandra XII 2008c (12.34)

I also use Everest on suggestions by Chaos and GenRage ... there are some freeware versions on the Lavalys page if you want to try either out

Lavalys - Comprehensive IT Security and Management
