Let us know how you get on and I'll be happy to share my own experiences. | thanks for the info.. but i decided to use my old psu raidmax500W the saphire 2900pro camed with 2 extra 6 pin convertors now the card is powered using them.. i don't have overdrive enabled but i oc'd it using rivatuner way above XT i chose to buy a new cpu instead of a psu, the old 3800+ x2 was bottlenecking like a mofo

There is an upper model as well might need to go to that for power consumption if I go with a Phenom

They are really kick ass and i have never heard of a complaint on any of their units. Zamoldac, 500 w is enough, but i don't trust Raidmax too much and for the longevity of your components i would still go with that Thermaltake unit.
