You should start by downloading cpuz.

Well Unix,as you are here talking about OC...there is something I wanted to ask you for a while..
I've got the same cpu as you,and I saw your "validated OC",and I was wondering if he OC to 4600+ was worth the effort?
Did you see any real difference?
My activities are gaming (of course ^^') and running 3DsM with heavy stuff..

Thx

Since I validated my OC I have also lowered the voltage. Just too lazy to upload again. Yes it's a performance boost depending on the game/app and it's extremely effortless something for nothing. It's good for compiling stuff faster too (time make -j 2). Bear in mind a stock 3800 x2 with an 8800GTX will beat the cr*p out of an overclocked E6600 with an 8800GTS 640 for (at the time of this post) less money. I'm getting one (8800gtx) in november/december (unless I see the hd2900 getting too close and they release non-crippled Linux drivers).

Take screenshots of the CPU, mainboard, memory and SPD tabs crop them and post here.

Yes I'm on the stock cooler. The 3800 is now cheaper than a decent aftermarket cooler .

AMD for life ^^

Can I post screen of my system too?

And I just saw something..My memory is showed to be at 400 Mhz in cpuz when it's supposed to

be at 800 Mhz (pc6400,supported by my motherboard (theoricaly ))

So how's that?is there something to put on,in the bios? (I didn't see anything..)
Is there a connection with the "memory bus" which is at 400 Mhz?

After a few looks in Everest,it appears that it's recognized as 800Mhz mem,but running at 400Mhz...

Sounds like I'm even noober than I tought

Edit: I just ran the "latency" tool in cpuz,and it found that my mem was 3..when it's suppoed to be 5(theoricaly and in cpuz and everywhere else)

DDR= Double date rate so 400 * 2 = 800MHz. Post a screen of the latency tab.
