Looking glass IS ready!
I tryed it already, wow it runs like normal speed with rare stunterings, but im experiencing problems with it I cant use expat libs, it means i cant use firefox neighter opera looks like a shared lib breakage, using the metacity wm it runs with no problems. About your camera, post model please? Or try this http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Run_a_Sony_EyeToy_Camera
Read the 2.2, about the recording software ill keep my eyes open. Ill try to run glass looking again.

PS.Running glass looking on my opensuse distro.

edit: uh forgot about something... add this to your use flag ( USE="your stuff..... gphoto2" ) then update all your packages with newuseflag like this emerge -uDN world.

edit2: lib expat error

Thanks man, gonna take a look at the driver in that page.

About looking glass, just like Beryl, let it be for a while. It's still unstable and dangerous to emerge.
Beryl + nVidia GLX rocks a lot now xD

Since this is a Linux Thread, i think that everyone interested in Linux, wants to know this:

That timeline is awesome! This one is even better http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Unix.svg

Ashes to ashes, Unix to Unix ...

ps: Debian is the only true Distro left.
