So far haven't really played around with Vista a lot, but I liked what I saw ...atleast the thing is pretty...I'm keeping xp pro for gaming though...and ubuntu as a "real" OS

I think 5.9 might be some kind of maximum on the Vista scale. I have exactly 5.9 on everything, and I never heard of anyone getting over that.

That's correct. 5.9 is the max for any of the components.
