Personally I use now Mandrake 10.1 with standard things in it. For sometime I used Slackware 10. It's really good - much better than Slackware 10.1 which even didn't detected my RADEON 9000.

What do you people have?

This is not a topic for "Windows / Linux is better than Linux / Windows ".

I used to use Slackware a couple of years ago, then made the switch over to FreeBSD. Slackware users might like to give it a try, it's quite similar as Slackware uses, or used to use atleast, a BSD style layout

mandrake and slackware are great.. i used for some time ubuntu hoary ... its newest ubuntu linux but there is a difficult in usin it.. im goin to use amberlinux after a week or two..
