PrEzi damn you're so cool I can't get any arguments, get back to the real world.

I didnt try the "virtualization mode" for my broken apps, I'll do it someday but I think users expect that the programs are going to run nativily.
Server 2008 do use the vista kernel, but it got more stability patches and more fixes since its intended for stability over *maybe* performance.
Up time, if thats all about I have a computer that can be up for a year sure, but i'll not be using it (no upgrades, no usage, no power failures). For a server up time is critical since it must be 24/7 online, since this is NOT the case, like you said what non-pro user would be doing here anyway?

You're not open to discussion because YOU are the one without arguments, I'm always open to discussion, and yes I can be sometimes wrong but I dont have a HUGE ego that make me tell others that I wont argue anymore when there is something still missing. And when did I said something about *nix? The poll options are XP, Vista, Seven.

Since I dont have a good enough processor I use XP SP3. But Windows 7 is pretty good. I just run the games in XP for better frame rate. And when it comes to stable .... Win7 is the way to go.
