If this keeps up, I'll definitely be one of the first in line to grab the official release.

My scores with samsung hdd:
Processor: 5,5
Memory (RAM): 5,5
Graphics (Aero): 7.9
Gaming Graphics: 6,2
Primary Hard Disk: 5,3
Seagate get 3,0. I will never more buy any f"""ing seagate crap! Especially when my ST3250310AS stopped workin few moths ago, it was my main hdd where i had a lots of important data and operating system, but thankfully with God's and little bit ubuntu's help i backuped whole data from this crap to hdd what i bought when i started to hear clickings from shitgate. It almost died when i was backuping data. Both shitgates are serie 7200.10.

#14 | | cel rau | SpectatorX, there's a know issue with W7 and some HDDs
W7 think they're SSDs and act weird, disable write caching on affected HDD
just try it
now my issue:
from last saturday my IE8 is stopped rendering webpages, I can browse only 3 webpages
I looked on MS TechNet forums and found a lot of ppl with same issue that just started with out reason, some found a workaround by disabling "auto detect settings" in IE lan settings tab
but ... there is more to this for me; they can use other browser like FF or Opera, I can't, I'm bound to the same 3 webpages but I'm able to ping any domain and use MSN and YM
here are some details: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...4eb7532#page:3
until I find a fix I'm staying clear of W7

until I find a fix I'm staying clear of W7 | That's an interesting note. But, so far I've not been affected by this. I have multiple HDDs, DVD drives, and USB devices connected. All are working fine......so far.
These are a combination of SATA, IDE, and USB connected.
HDD Brands I'm using:
WDD; Samsung, Maxtor, Hitachi
DVD Brand: Samsung

Have you tried the Disk Manager yet? And, do the drives show up in Device Manager?
For my own part, I haven't had any issues with drives showing up at all.
