I've just read at one of my fav vortals news about some updates for windows and while readin comments to this news i thought about make poll like this one.

My question is:

Which one edition of windows was in your opinion made best by Microsoft?

IMO.... 98 & xp

They have many users until this time and probably not so soon they will lost them, 'cos they're really good.

XP is by far the best ( and from the xp series i would pick XP x64)

I would vote 2000 because it was the first NT based OS for desktop
but when SP2 for XP was delivered ... the best Windows ever emerged

Windows 3.11 was actually a pretty good release I used it until 98 came out because I wouldn't leave that bug ridden piece of crap they called Windows 95 on my computer. Me was a piece of crap too so its out lol

I haven't tried Vista yet so not fair of me to judge that despite what I have heard pro or con. For all the years I have used it and honestly as I am sure others will say for the years they refused to accept it XP is to date the best overall OS I have used from MS. For gaming nothing beat Windows 98 SE in its day
