Hey Guys...
Just read what you posted Regeneration- Yikes! Wish it would work for you , man!
I'm kinda *gonna get sick of vista becuase of the following:
I bought a Gateway desktop , right... (see profile specs) - I want to upgrade to 4GB RAM - but found out recently that I would need Vista Home Premium 64bit to take full advantage of the 4GB of RAM or higher....( something about memory adddress limitation issues in 32bit OS Windows? ) - Well, anyway- It seems that I will have to "upgrade" to vista 64bit and what i am fearing right now- is the driver support for 64bit Vista from gateway - *it seems that they have limited support for Vista 64bit with my computer model

It might turn out that I wont be able to use my Tv/tuner card that came with the computer ..... That just plain stinks! ( Very GREAT HD TV Tuner! It is a ViXs chip ?- Works AWESOME with windows media encoder - get to transer my vid tapes to wmv (why that format? long story...) - very easily and with great picture/sound quality- highly recommend processing chip !)
But, my experience with the upgrade to Vista on my laptop (signature) has been good , except for some times (only if i update the system software- sound, video etc) it takes a while to start up - other than that - it has been "playing nice" here- Even the Vista Native Gateway has yet to see one of those BSOD ...
Yea, i think it might be the drivers that are making your MS Windoze vista experience go awry, Regeneration....
Sorry to hear it aint working for you....
And it is going to be headache for me , it seems , too!
I'm seriously thinking of building (FUN project!

) a new 1000 (slowly- component wize) buck puter - sell the gateway-and if the drivers are there for vista 64bit , i might load it - if not- i just might install xp ....
Peace out!
Have a good day!
Edward
