K8L. They say you can just flip out your current AM2 and slab in the Quadcore. Well they wouldn't lie about that but. Apart from the move to DDR2 (AM2) you won't be forced to change your motherboard for a long time.

40% performance advantage over the intel product that will be in the market at time of release? This kind of reminds me of early 2006 when Intel was doing red-indian dances around it's new who...*cough* core. They could be bluffing though, you never know.
