I will never pay those prices for this OS. I would buy for the US prices, those are acceptable, but not when its 80-90% more here!! Never. I will use cracked version until MS comes to its sences!!!
Piratebay FTW. MS Sux!!

I agree this is utter bs and MS just throwing their wang around after the whole antitrust thing with EU because poor mickeysoft didn't get their way, "justifying additional costs." Way to alienate your customers. This pisses me off and I'm in the US . I had a little rant at the end of my post on "Creative Launches ALchemy Project" but it all comes down to me hating on their multiple editions (Starter and Home Basic should NOT EXIST). I question the need for "upgrade" editions to "save money." No OS should be over 100-200 and it's bs to dangle DX10 and Halo2 in front of us like dogs. A fancy 3d Aero interface won't necessarily improve work efficiency, if anything it might be a little distracting at first. It all comes down to how good their reworked networking is, how secure is this OS really, WDF better be about getting the driver done, not making MS happy (WDM woes..actually I'm pretty sure WDF will make things easier/better to develop). All in all, does this justify a hardware upgrade? Is there anything I can't do securely on XP if handled correctly? Is there really some networking feature that I can't live without? So far, I'm struggling to even find the energy to look. |
