Default News: Intel V8: a big joke

INTEL WAS SHOWING off a PC at CES ot called the V8, and that was basically a knee-jerk counter to AMD's 4x4. The problem is that it is about the worst possible thing you could do for gaming and Intel should not have bothered.

All that processing power and only one slot for graphics? WTF! They show their 3dmark CPU score because they know they can't do anything about the final score which they hide.

4x4/V8 is a proof that most of the press sites are bunch of newbies. This platform is available for years as ‘server platform’. The only difference in 4x4 is Multi-GPU support and that’s no real news. News flash for everyone, this is OLD NEWS! This technology is already available for years!

That's why it's a joke! AMD's solution has Multi-GPU support and that would be the new thing vs the server platform. Intel has just rebranded the old technology but no support for multiple GPUs has been added. Not that I'd be stupid enough to buy either one of those...
