#1 | | Newbie | Please Answer this question about my computer:) can someone please tell me why the f*** my computer is being a little b****.
to elaborate on that it constantly resets during games and during anything i do.
i have a intel pentium 4 processor 2.80 Ghz(400pin)
radeon 9600xt graphics card
1Gb Ram
ASUS P4P800S - X motherboard
if i missed anything of improtance can someone please tell me
it also crashes alot not just resets
i have a feeling its the motherboard and processor
because my friend has the same stuff except a different processor and motherboard

maybe the problem is with psu (in 90% the problem of restarting is bad psu) |

We had a stick on a machine at the studio that would hard lock the machine after about an hour during any games. We thought the chipset was going thermal ... nope one bad memory stick.
puddy207 if you have extra ram there try swapping it out before looking at the mobo and run what Gen said too .. BTW welcome to NGOHQ
