sorry to tell you this ring wraith. but ,my version is newer then that.

i have newer IDE drivers (6.66, as opposed to mei's 6.54)
i have newer ethernet drivers (55.23 as opposed to 53.08)
and i've fixed the problem with the hypertransport controller not installing. (copied the nf4 inf from the 8.22 changed the driver version and date and alls good.)

also, my package is complete, and not some hack job i did.

Changes includ separating the ATA and PARA ATA controllers into a separate inf from the Serial ata controllers/. those are in SATAIDE

I knew you were going to say that. 6.03 has newer drivers, 6.05a are the best performing drivers. actually look at the versions. 6.03 has 7.11 IDE drivers, etc.

Anyone can download them from Station-drivers. Unbreakable has been doing this for years, I wouldn't call him a hack. Weren't you the one asking for help editing an .ini?

the 7.11's are fake.

i downloaded them a while ago and they were actually 6.53

they were from the Nforce 7.11 pack.

also. the 7.11's that do exist don't work for NF2 ide controllres unless you use an older nvata.sys file.

so in the end, your only running an inf that says 7.11.

i hadn't worked on one for awhile.

i couldn't remember if ; cancelled a line.

it did, so i removed that. and now there is one extra ethernet controller that these should work on.

yes.. i was correct.

as mei states in the 6.04 thread. the 7.11's properties and options page doesnt' work on any controllers other then the 430 chipset.

so mei went back to 6.22

i have a newer working set for everybody.

:P

hey mac daddy. if you dowload these.

to install the ide drivers (if you have a parallel ata or nf2 ata controller) create a folder named legacy in the ide/xp folder and copy the files from the xp folder into the legacy folder (only the files)

it appears this version of the installer uses the legacy folder..

the last 2 i had to put the files on the main xp folder...

will update the download with changes asap

Chezy, i can't reproduce the problem you had with the gart driver.

i think that you may have thought it didn't install because the not signed driver warning didn't show up

afaik. that has never shown up for me when installing the gart driver. so it should work just fine

to try to reproduce it.

i had agp 4.40 installed

i replaced the 4.40 drivers in the 9.16 with 4.36

installed only gart driver.

4.36 showed up in system devices.

put the 4.40 folder back into 9.16

instaleld only gart driver

dev manager showed 4.40

it should work fine.
