ty - that was with one GX2 card and Q6600 o/c to 3.51ghz, with two GX2 cards and the cpu now o/c to 3.6 Ghz i think it will be over 18000 points, it will definitely be interesting to see..

(although I think my single GX2 card was overclocked when i ran this test)

My second 9800GX2 card has arrived now and I tested it last night in SLi with a 18000+ 3dmark06 score.... will post later on so you can see how close it was!

Here's my latest score which I am very pleased with. This was achieved with my Q6600 @ 3.6 GHz and with both my 9800 GX2 cards ( yes, I enjoyed saying that ) at stock settings. I also used the latest official 175.19 drivers.

As you can see, I only just managed to get over the 18,000 mark:

Ur score is not actually that bad, I had expected to easily get over 18,000 with my new quad core/quad SLi rig and I only just made it.

The problem with 3DM '06 is that the score is so dependant on the CPU (high CPU clock mainly and also high core GPU clock) rather than the real capability of ur GPU/s.

- hence why the record high score was made with an o/c QX9650 @ 5+ Ghz.. and also using Radeon cards which have much higher stock clocks than Nvidia cards = 32,000 score

The Radeon 3800 cards that were used for the record high score weren't necessarily better than similar Nv cards, they just have higher core clocks so it affects the score more. - its an "artificially created" high score really.
