Today when I took my dog out for a walk, I noticed there are more than 50 cats in my street district (Five buildings). I wondered why there are so many cats here, that's kinda sick. Don’t get me wrong! I don’t have anything against pets, I just find it fun to visit a zoo, but not to live in one.

Today I found out why… because my pathetic neighbors here feed them! And not just by regular dry food! they gave them catering food. With the current economy crisis and all the hungry people out there, these retarded people in my street giving catering to cats rather supporting poor people.

I must say to these people: you are pathetic losers! Get a life.

OK, sure. And you intend to feed them as people feed starving animals? I'm just saying, this is not a a solution. Just yesterday I was listening to a news report where they were saying that UK alone trashes 1.5 billion of euros per year worth in food. Throwing food away is a horrible sin and until people start looking at it that way, things are not going to change.

People feed starving animals with leftover food. It's not an actual solution for anything, but it helps them deal with grief as they would throw that food into the dumpsters otherwise.

Like mkey said, feeding a starving isn't going to solve the issue. We are already way to much on Earth, if we feed the starving, the population will just keep growing even faster and soon people will be working solely for food or there will we wars over that again.

But i agree that feeding street cats is stupid and do more harm that good .
Catch them and take to sterilization and let go free, or just lave the "natural" selection do the job.
Feeding just increase the problem becos of the eazy population grow.

Just cats? Seriously, in the entire street there are like 100-200 cats. There are like 10 people who fed them three times a day! These cats weight more than me now. I can't even take my dog out.

The most annoying street cat feeders are Russian couple that also has two dogs and they are never tied. I always have to take my dog elsewhere because of them, they are everywhere, and they walk around the town with their dogs and feeding all cats.

Besides, cats are hunters - you don't have to fed them... they are suppose to eat rats and nasty things. Nobody is monitoring them, they could spread viruses and stuff.

People train dogs for hunting rats. Have you seen the size of a modern rat? You would need a tiger to hunt them down, not a domestic cat.
