p.s you should keep in mind its not my personal phone i dont have any real first hand expirence with it ( i have a HTC S630 and a K800i).
if i get some free time and it helps you i will take one of the phones and upgrade its FW to a recent one.

If you're using a custom theme,not those witch came with the phone,it may slow your performance as well.
