The difference between the elite and premium is the hdd size... and of course the Xbox360 is really better than PS3 in meaning graphics...

Xbox360 -- ATI
PS3 -- NVIDIA

I have an picture

As you can see

i recently hot a 360 and i must say it'a a great console i've modded it and now i get my games from different pirate trackers and burn them on a dl+ verbatim dvd;s, the controler and the acesories of the 360 are much more advanced then ps3's as for games well as expected microsoft is on the exclusive side the only problem with the 360' is the known RrOD ( red ring of death) seems that the console overheats and that is causing the gpu or cpu to stick out from the motherboard BUT you vae alternatives like water-cooling or.. my favorite take out the lids and mount 2x 80mm or so 12v fans also you can keep it in open spaces and it will probably hold for more then 2 years or so even more,
Overall the 360 is pretty much great

i'e played on ps3 a lot because all my friends are hard core sony fans ( sucks!) and i must say that the graphics.. simply sucks i mean playing assasin's creed on my 360' looks the same as playing it on pc.. but playing it on ps3.. i swear looks like a different game a bad one.

Here are a few more links with comparative screens ( the 360 obvios owns the ps3 ) :

in some games it looks so bad that it's not even funny

PS: for that mod ( basicly the firmwire of the dvd drive is flashed) i payed 20$ so pretty cheap considering now i can play games for 2$ a pop ( the price of a good dual layer verbatim blank dvd)

ALSO KEEP IN MIND THAT U CAN'T MOD THE PS3 IN THS WAY ( and probably will never be posible ) so you will have to pay the full price for games

The ps3 have the same overheating problem... but the problem in this when the console is scrapped the user don't know why... because the ps3 system don't have any monitoring

believe it or not Imod, crytech says there going to make crysis for the ps3 using cryengine 2.

And they said the 360 cant handle it because of lack of requirements.
