TRUE STORY...Not a Joke! Where I bought my car, I've shared a lot of funny jokes and stories with them. Then, about 2 weeks ago, the lady shared this absolutely true story with me. I'm going to post it just like she shared it with me...with very little editing. (Just some spelling/grammar corrections is all.)
___________________________________________ My daughter has 3 sons (ages 11, 9, and 8). Not long ago, there was a show on about the year’s funniest commercials. She and the 3 boys were watching the show…some were on the edge of risqué. This particular commercial was promoting a storage facility. There was a small boy (4 or 5) sitting in his parents' bedroom floor playing with his little plastic cowboys and Indians. He reached under the edge of the bed and pulled out a long cylinder shaped item (mom’s/woman’s "toy"). The boy started playing with the “missile” that mowed down all of his Indians. The commercial ended with the phrase…”If you don’t get storage for yourself, get it for your kids.” My daughter was trying to keep a straight face as her sons looked at her for answers. She told them she didn’t really understand what was so funny. Well, the oldest boy let out a big laugh. My daughter just gave him a look and that was the end of that. Later she heard my middle grandson asking him what was so funny about that commercial. He told him........ “Everybody knows they didn’t have missiles in cowboy days!” Out of the mouths of babes!!!
